- I *used* to not have DigiView 4.02 work with my 'normal' setup (1200,
- 3.0 roms, 3.1 setpatch, many random things), and had to reboot with
- no startup to use it, but on a whim, i tried launching it a few days
- ago in my normal environment, and much to my surprise, it worked
- perfectly.
-
- In fact, i just popped it up and digitized a frame off the first
- tape that was handy. 320x400, greyscale, no stupid "out of memory"
- problems. With AmiTCP up and running.
-
- Unfortunately, i haven't the foggiest idea WHAT i used to have in my
- system that caused the problems, what i removed or added. One possible
- reason for it working that i can think of offhand is that i now use an
- AllocMem() patch that does a simple attempt to avoid memory fragmentation
- (lowfrag.lha, SOMEwhere on Aminet)...
-
- It *will* work with AGA and 3.1, but i don't know what makes it work or
- not work...
